Windsor is roughly three and a half hours from our studio along the 401, so most Windsor clients never make the trip. Video works well for every stage. If you happen to be visiting family in the GTA, you are welcome to book a studio appointment and see stones in person.

Choosing a stone for skyline light
Windsor's riverfront faces the Detroit skyline, and the classic proposal here happens as the sun goes down and the city across the water lights up. Low, warm evening light is when the difference between stones is easiest to see.
Moissanite throws noticeably more coloured fire than diamond, those small flashes of rainbow you notice as the ring moves. A lab diamond shows more white sparkle and a little less colour. Neither is better; it depends on what your partner likes. A halo adds a ring of smaller stones that picks up light from every angle. We can show you each option in 3D and on video so you can judge for yourself.

Work back from sunset. In June the sun sets late, which makes an after-dinner proposal at Dieppe Gardens easy to plan. For that, approve your design by early May to leave time for 4 to 6 weeks of handcrafting and shipping. Proposing in winter instead? Ordering from Windsor: FAQs
Do I have to drive to the GTA to order a ring?
No. Windsor is about three and a half hours from our Mississauga studio, so most clients design entirely by video. Studio visits are available by appointment if you are in the area.
Moissanite or lab diamond: which sparkles more?
Moissanite shows more coloured fire, while a lab diamond shows more white sparkle. It comes down to taste, and we can show you both on video.
Is shipping to Windsor included?
Yes. Shipping is free anywhere in Canada, including Windsor and the rest of Essex County.
How far ahead should I order for a summer proposal?
Approve the design about six weeks before the date. For a June proposal, that means settling the design by early May.
Can I return a custom ring?
Custom rings are made to order. Unworn, non-custom rings can be exchanged within 30 days under our returns policy.
