Our Beginnings
The Toronto Fine story first began even before the company was formed. Back when our CEO & founder was running his first restaurant, he ran into TJ, who had mistakenly sat at his personal desk and chair. Intrigued, Shaurik pulled up a chair next to her and asked her who she was. There began the love story of Shaurik & TJ.
Before they knew it, they were deeply in love which only left one thing to do: ask her to marry him. Well, this posed a challenge for our keen founder who had recently sold his share of the restaurant and had little to no money left for an engagement ring that could’ve run him at least $10,000 plus taxes.
Knowing that TJ deserved what she truly wanted, and not wanting to settle for just any ring, Shaurik set out on a journey to understand the ring creation process. After a year of research, training, self-learning, building connections – Shaurik created his very first engagement ring, which he used to propose to TJ (of course, she said yes!)
Ecstatic and with a deep desire to share his knowledge with the rest of the world, Shaurik formed Toronto Fine Jewelry – a customer first brand that beautifully crafts high quality and affordable jewelry.
Our Growth
Toronto Fine first started off as an online-only company serving customers just within the Greater Toronto Area. Soon with growing demand, TFJ began shipping across country and then eventually across the world. Today, Toronto Fine Jewelry serves customers around the world, helping thousands of couples bring their dream ring & fine jewelry dreams to life. We work with a full design, casting, polishing, setting and appraisal team that delivers the best in class right here in Toronto, Canada.
We also have an in-person studio where customers can visit us see jewelry live in person to truly grasp the quality of our workmanship. Our Studio is located in Vaughan, ON by Highway 7 & Weston Road. While we don’t keep all our rings in stock, our team can guide you through our custom order process and spend time with you to show you our quality workmanship.
In addition to our customer-centricity, TFJ is also committed to sustainability & supporting causes that matter to the team and brand. For every engagement ring sold, TFJ plants a tree through the One Tree Planted foundation, Additionally, TFJ donates to help support underprivileged girls and women in developing countries through Plan International Canada.

Founder, CEO
Mechanical engineer by Trade, Shaurik has 10+ years of experience in product design & development. Shaurik has lead marketing and loyalty campaigns for some of the largest Canadian and international retailers including GameStop, Starbucks & McDonalds. With a deep desire to help people, Shaurik created Toronto Fine and continues to build a pipeline that will enhance both customer experience and drive sustainability in the industry.

A Merchandising buyer by Trade, TJ studied Fashion as an aspiring lover of all things style. TJ's diverse background and depth in understanding of the retail customer experience and supply chain plays a key role in ensuring quality in delivering our promise to our customers.
