Maybe you both love heights, the scenic views guaranteed from being over a 1000ft above the ground, and the wind rushing through your hair. Or maybe you're absolutely terrified of it but your special someone loves the thrill of being so high in the skies (in which case kudos to you for considering this!). Regardless, it's hard to go wrong with this adventurous proposal idea that you can put into action as close as Toronto!

It's not hard to paint a beautifully romantic picture of proposing to a loved one on a gently rocking boat, deep blue water surrounding you, as you both start on life's next adventure. The beauty of this idea is that it works for different personalities. If you're the couple that likes loud, crazy, amazing proposals, the opportunities to basically have a party of a proposal are endless. But if you go the other way and want to enjoy a quiet, intimate moment, it's not hard to find a place in the GTA to rent out a small canoe so you can paddle out on the water and ask that important question, feeling like you're the only two people in the world.

This list would be amiss without this one in here. We're Canadian after all! Once we have mastered the art of not falling on our backsides every 5 seconds, ice skating is widely and indisputably regarded as a beautiful and romantic activity to do with someone. And if Toronto is the city where you want to propose, you can't go wrong with proposing in the Nathan Phillips Square, with the colourful Toronto sign in the background!
